Frequently-Asked Questions
===================================================================

  1.	WHERE ARE THE FILES?

Not all compilations include files for every
distribution. In general, CD/ISO compilations include
everything, but downloaded zip files only contain
relevant portions of the product. For example,
if you registered only Domain Time II Server, and
downloaded the registered version, your zip file
will only contain Domain Time II Server.

  2.	WHERE ARE THE LICENSE KEYS?

	a)	Evaluation versions don't use license keys.
Some evaluation versions time out (stop
working) after thirty (30) days, while
others rely on the honor system. Please
don't keep using an evaluation version
after the evaluation period has expired.

	b)	Windows registered versions are separate
executables from the eval versions. Instead
of entering a license key, you upgrade from
the evaluation version to the registered
version. Of course, the registered version
may be installed fresh (not as an upgrade),
		too.

	c)	DTLinux needs a license key to change from
the evaluation version to a registered
version. The distribution files	are identical,
but you enter the license key from the command
line to register the software. You don't need
to reinstall, reboot, or restart DTLinux.

The license keys are NOT included with
these files. You must download them from
our website, or call tech support.

  3.	WHAT OPERATING SYSTEMS ARE SUPPORTED?

	a)	Microsoft Windows x86, x64, Arm64*

Files are located in the root folder, and
		also in the AMD64 (64-bit) and i386 (32-bit)
		folders.

		i)	Version 5.2 components run on Windows
XP and above. This is the recommended
			version for those operating systems.
x86 and x64 are fully supported on
			XP and above.

			*Arm64 Snapdragon (under emulation)
is supported on Windows 11 and above.

ii)	Previous versions of Domain Time II
have been discontinued and are no longer
			supported or available for download.

	b)	Linux x86_64

Files are in the Linux folder. Only the DTLinux
client is available. x86_64 distros running in
64-bit mode with systemd (not init.d) are supported.

		i)	TGZ for generic distros.

ii)	DEB for Debian, Mint, and any other
			Debian-derived distro.

iii)	RMP for RedHat, CentOS, Rock, and
			any other RPM-based distro.
